What we collect
We do not ask for your name, your email address or any account details, because there are no accounts. We do not collect the words, letters or lists you type into any tool on this site.
How the tools work
The dictionary is downloaded to your browser as a static file. Searching, scrambling, scoring and worksheet generation all happen on your own device using JavaScript. No search you run is transmitted, logged or stored anywhere. Closing the tab discards everything.
Server logs
Like nearly all websites, our host records standard technical information when a page is requested: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running. They are not used to build a profile of you.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies of its own and uses no local storage for tracking. If advertising or analytics are added in future, third-party services may set cookies, and this page will be updated to say so before that happens.
Third parties
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives a request from your browser including your IP address when the font files are fetched. No other third-party service is loaded on these pages.
Children
The site is suitable for classroom use. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
